Neighboring the Hirschenkogel, the Sonnwenstein is famous for the views as well as the growing popularity with para gliders. With good wind conditions is para gliding here a real unique experience. Panhans Sledge Slope
The Sledging slope with the biggest name.
The Panhans Sledging Slopes are directly on the pass heights next to the childrens lifts, ideal for the smallest sledge racers.

Zauberberg Sledging Run
Europe´s ultimate sledge experience!
The Ultimate Zauberberg Sledge Run on the Hirschenkogel is 3.1 km long and offers fun for young and old alike. To climb the mountain take the "Magic Mountain Xpress" lift. Follow the sign posts and enjoy the many "refreshment" opportunities along the way and the adventure in snow is guaranteed.

Sledging tickets are sold in 4s, 8s or 20 blocks. Sledge rental from 8:30 to 17:00 or 18:00 to 22:00 o´clock for €6.50 per sledge at the Valley Station Zauberberg.

We should do it occasionally, and get up on to the Zauberberg Semmering! Here you can find sport and relaxation at every time of the year. The modern gondola "magic Mountain Xpress" will bring you safely and comfortably to the top of the mountain. From the Millenniums viewpoint on the crest you can enjoy the most beautiful panorama in the world. Walking and trekking paths to Sonnwendstein, Semmering and Stuheck offer something for everyone.

Johannespromenade (Running & Nordic Walking)
The start of this route is at the valley station of the gondola. This almost flat route is perfect for beginners and those who want to enjoy the scenery and leads to the Durrgrabenbrücke and back. Kilometer and half kilometer sign posts help with pacing for your personal training.
Liechtenstein Strasse (Running & Nordic Walking)
For those with good condition…
The start is above the Südbahnhotel at the news agents. This route is demanding due to its continuous climb, whereby the altitude increases the training results.
Wolfsbergkogel (Running)
Running enjoyment for the advanced.
This tour begins at the sports field at Wolfsbergkogel. It leads then through an untouched pine forest with wonderful viewpoints over the world cultural heritage Semmeringbahn.
